How many netizens are there in Saligao? Anyone has a approximate figure of that? I 'm kinda wondering where the NRS (Non-Resident Saligaokars) are !! .. Don't see too many of them on this site. I guess this is the perfect platform for them to interact with other Saligaokars. Or maybe they don't know about this site.

Other things which we can accomodate: * A simple java script based chat ( for logged in users). * A classifieds page (fine grained, as in, it should accomodate things as small as "hitching a lift to Panjim" ... or am I going too far?)

Its really nice to see this community site. It’s a little young, but I guess it’ll gather “critical mass” in some time.

Saligao has changed -- a lot. It's totally different from what it was in the 80’s. And the only thing which is constant in the Universe is change.

What we can however do is adapt to the changes. The worst thing which can happen to a community is lack of belongingness. That’s what you see in the metro’s today people do not even know their next door neighbors.
