Its really nice to see this community site. It’s a little young, but I guess it’ll gather “critical mass” in some time.

Saligao has changed -- a lot. It's totally different from what it was in the 80’s. And the only thing which is constant in the Universe is change.

What we can however do is adapt to the changes. The worst thing which can happen to a community is lack of belongingness. That’s what you see in the metro’s today people do not even know their next door neighbors.

I guess one way to allow Saligao to change gracefully, is for its people to remain “Saligaokars” no matter how many “changes” the village goes through!
