Saligao United in Dubai is to hold a small get-together for villagers living in the UAE on the afternoon of Friday, May 5, to celebrate the feast of Mae de Deus (which falls on Sunday May 7 this year).

Plans include a thanksgiving mass at St. Mary's Church at 10 a.m. followed by a social gathering at a venue to be announced soon.

Organisers told Saligao403511: "We would like to invite all Saligao Villagers living in the UAE to join us in the celebration on this auspicious occasion. Please convey this message to any other Ssaligao villagers living in the UAE you may be aware of and also send us their details such as full name, vaddo, contact telephone or fax numbers, e-mail
